In 1999 I went down to Newlyn, Cornwall with a team of multimedia artists to film the eclipse. There was a sound artist who captured VLF data from the sun and transformed it into MIDI data so this can be used by other composers to make soundtracks. I worked under Film maker Barry Hale to shoot the eclipse as the crowds gathered around St Micheals Mount.

The results were presented in a CD ROM and released by Iris Light Records. An exhibition of the video and sound was also presented at the Futuresonic exhibition in Manchester.
